2012 events
Saturday April 28 we participated in our third annual Spring to Health fair, sponsored by the Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley. This is located at the Andy Murphy Neighborhood Center at 467 Broadway in Kingston.
Saturday August 4 we attended the Always There Homecare fund-raiser from 10 am till 2 pm. Our tables were comfy in the shade of a peaceful tree despite the heat being in the 90s.

2011 events
Monday January 3 Our first presentation in 2011 on wellness and self-care at the Culinary Institute of America.
Sunday March 13 Our second Women's Pamper Party (the 6th annual) at the Culinary Institute of America. We served around 59 culinary students in 3 hours. After a fabulous lunch first. Thank you Stephanie DeRose, as always, for including us in this wonderful event.
Sunday April 3 We attended at Breast Cancer Options' 10th annual Complementary Medicine Conference at SUNY New Paltz. We, along with other energy and body workers, participated in the conference's Time-Out room, offering Reiki to all conference participants. We served at least 30 clients over the entire day (probably more!).
Saturday April 9 We participated in our second annual Spring To Health fair, sponsored by the Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley.
Tuesday April 12 We offered our first Reiki demo for the clients and staff of the Adult Day Care program at Always There in Kingston. A sweetly wonderful experience to take part in. Thank you to Yvette Armstead and staff for inviting us.
Saturday May 21 We were graciously included on the awards dais when our colleague Dr. Lori Arella received a Meritorious Achievement Award from the Hudson Valley Psychological Association. Congratulations, Dr. Arella, for your wonderful work on behalf of our Hudson Valley area veterans and their families.

Monday September 26 Our second CIA Wellness Expo. It was exciting to return to the CIA and those fantastic, hard-working students, offering them some Reiki R&R
Sundays on October 2, 9, 16 and 23 We participated in FREE Holistic Outreach Clinics for those area residents affected by Hurricane Irene. Massage, chiropractic, Reiki, homeopathy, acupuncture, EFT, energy healing, & more from 3 pm – 6 pm. No appointments required. At: Parish Hall, 109 Main St., Phoenicia, NY. Sponsored by: Family of Woodstock & Health Care is a Human Right
Sunday October 23 We participated in the first annual Wholistic Health & Wellness Fair at the Elting Memorial Library. A fun outdoor fund-raiser for the library on a beautiful afternoon.

2010 events
On Sunday March 21 we took part in the 5th annual Woman's Pamper Party, sponsored by the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, benefiting the Grace Smith House for Domestic Violence. All participants were treated like royalty, and in turn we got to introduce a whole lot of students to their first Reiki experience.
On Saturday April 10 we participated in Spring To Health, sponsored by the Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley.
On Tuesday June 22 we gave a presentation on wellness and self-care to the Culinary Institute of America's Residence Life Department staff. Denise, April and Lynne gave short introductions, and we all offered 20-minute Reiki sessions to 7 staff members. Some recipients were familiar with Reiki; others had their first experience. We all were treated to a fabulous lunch afterward.
Saturday July 31 Another presentation on wellness and self-care for the Culinary Institute of America's student staff. Like Chelsea Clinton's wedding, which took place just up the road that day, it was blissful for all involved! (And so was our thank-you lunch!)
Monday September 27 We participated in the CIA's Wellness Expo. There were more recipients of Reiki on our tables than we could count, and a wonderful time was had by all despite the rainy weather. Thank you, Ryan Butler, for your organizing skills.
Saturday, October 30 We participated in SUNY Ulster's first Veterans Showcase on their Stone Ridge campus on 491 Cottekill Road. We had our info table up, and offered Reiki sessions to curious visitors.
Thursday, November 11 We participated in VETFAMSA's Veterans and PTSD seminar at Castle Point. Thank you, Dr. Lori Arella, for inviting us to this important and historic event. The presenters were wonderful.
